Marco Deyasi

Deyasi has taught art history for almost 20 years at several universities across the US and Canada. Prior to joining ASU, he was Visiting Professor of Global, Non-Western and Postcolonial art history at Concordia University in Montreal. Deyasi has also taught at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Macalester College and the University of Idaho. His research interests center on modern art and its relationship to colonialism, especially French colonialism in Vietnam and Cambodia.  At ASU, he teaches Intro to Art courses for non-majors (ARS 101 & ARS 102), as well as a course in Non-Western art (ARS 202).
