Phillip Morris
With over 35 years of professional experience, Morris is a seasoned animator whose career spans television, feature animation and visual effects. He began his career in the UK, working on a variety of television cartoon series before moving into 2D feature animation with renowned studios such as Amblin Entertainment and Walt Disney Feature Animation.
As the industry transitioned to digital production, he expanded his expertise into 3D feature and VFX animation, contributing to major studio projects at Framestore, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), MPC and Tippett Studio. Throughout his career, he has held key roles including Animator, Lead Animator and Animation Supervisor on numerous high-profile feature films.
In addition to his industry accomplishments, he has taught both 2D and 3D animation at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Now part of the faculty at Arizona State University’s School of Art Animation program, he brings a wealth of real-world experience to the next generation of animators.
