Johanna Virgil

Virgil is a proud U.S. Army veteran who after completing her enlistment, pursued her passion for the arts and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in 2017. Inspired to deepen her understanding of art, Johanna returned to ASU as a graduate student in art history, focusing on pre-Columbian art of the Americas. Her research focuses on the region of lower Central America with an emphasis on the pre-Columbian art of Costa Rica.
