Solis' research explores the female experience from a psychological lens. In 2015, Solis founded Creative Push, an ongoing multimedia visual art and oral history project that collects, transforms, displays, and circulates birth stories and artworks. In creating meaning and connectivity through art and sharing, the project offers insights into various cultural traditions, while also highlighting the ways in which we are fundamentally connected.

DeCaussin draws inspiration from the emptiness found in everyday space and its ability to evoke themes of solace, sadness, and contemplation. His art captures fleeting moments within neighborhood homes during the seemingly tranquil hours between dawn and dusk, revealing brief moments of life within. Existing within the delicate balance of observation and voyeurism, each painting brings the viewer into a multifaceted narrative unfolding before them, reminding viewers of their place within a vast, interconnected universe.
